MOREL MANIACS - DOCUMENTARY TRAILER
A feature-length documentary project about the people and mayhem behind “The Illinois State Morel Mushroom Hunting Championship” in the small and rural town of Magnolia (pop. 250). Thousands of people descend on the tiny town each year in early May for this quirky event.
This year-long shoot culminated in an eight-camera, fifteen-crew member production on the weekend of The Championship.
