GUSTER - “GSPN”
Guster, which formed in Boston, has a tradition of making a grand entrance to its homecoming concerts. In 2007, only four days before Guster’s two-night stint at The Boston Opera House, they were still without an idea.
This script was conceived and written on a Tuesday in a college gymnasium in Iowa. The video was produced, delivered, and broadcast by the following Friday (less than four days later) and includes footage shot on-location at the ESPN SportsCenter studio in Connecticut and on the field of Fenway Park in Boston. This clip played on an 80-foot video screen in The Opera House and announced the band’s arrival on stage and has been viewed over 100,000 times on the internet.
